Drilling of concrete

Since the mid-50-ies of the last century, the most effective and safe way to get holes in concrete, reinforced concrete, brick and other mineral materials, was drilling, or drilling, with the help of special equipment, equipped with tubular crowns of different diameters. They got its name “Diamond” due to the fact that at the end of each crown by the laser welding fixed segments of special alloys, which include synthetic diamonds.

Of the most characteristic advantages of this technology drilling holes in various building materials can be noted the following:

-Almost complete absence of axial dynamic loads, the so-called “unstressed method”;

-The maximum low vibration level (within 2.5 m/с2);

-Relatively low noise level (within 86 dB);

-Very high linear speed of passage, from 1 to 6 centimeters per minute, which depends on the opening diameter and the main characteristics of the material in which the drilling.

In addition, with the undeniable advantages of diamond drilling would like to note the complete absence of dust in the process of work, because the working area of the pressure drilling is fed water. It not only provides cooling of diamond segments, but at the same time effectively removes drilling waste (slurry). So that the dust still abstains before she has time to climb over the work area. The use of “Hilti” drilling machines with special collector and vacuum cleaner to collect slurry provides a unique opportunity to perform work at objects with already finished finishing processing.

Given all the above advantages of diamond drilling and a large selection of crowns (diameter from 12 to 600 mm), this technology makes it possible in a short time to receive qualitatively processed holes of the desired size. Drilling depth is limited only by the thickness of the wall and can be several meters.

Here are some of the basic tasks that are solved with the help of diamond drilling rigs:

-Openings for air ducts and air conditioning systems;

-Drilling holes for water supply, heating and sewerage systems;

-Holes in the ceilings for communication systems;

-Precise holes under the anchor of the large diameter;

-Trial drilling to obtain sample material;

-Drilling for the installation of fences, handrails and enclosing barriers.

To ensure the full and operational work of our employees the customer must comply with the following conditions:

-Availability of 220 V, or 380 (for diameters > 250 mm);

-the possibility of water supply in one of these methods-centralized water, well or container with water volume of at least 1 cubic meters for the use of the pump;

-clearly marked the marking of all centers of necessary holes on the surface of concrete, reinforced concrete or brick.
